1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. Under Law no. 54/2024 "On electronic communications" and Law no. 124/2024, cookies that are not strictly necessary require your consent. We use none, so we do not show a consent banner.
2. Cookies we use
- pepa_session: keeps you signed in to the portal after you log in (student, instructor, administrator). Strictly necessary. Duration: up to 30 days or until you sign out.
- pepa_lang: remembers the language you chose in the portal. Functional, set only when you change language. Duration: 1 year.
3. Browser storage
The site temporarily keeps in your browser (sessionStorage / localStorage) some data you type or choose yourself, so it is not lost if you reload: the registration form draft, the manual / automatic choice and your progress in the theory exercises. None of it is sent to us until you submit a form, and you can clear it in your browser settings.
4. Google map
The Google Maps map on the site is not loaded automatically. It appears only when you click the map button; Google may then set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. You can also use the "Open in Google Maps" link instead.
5. How to control them
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block pepa_session, signing in to the portal will not work.
